An evening of 'tribal roots' and fusion belly dance in support of the Comox Valley Transition Society women's shelter. Celebrate the beauty, and strength of women dancing together this International Women's Day! The show will feature performances by Debra Pinchback and the Saidi Sisters, Taiya Curle, Cathy Stoyko and Arcana Dea, Edith Jacobs, Hipsteria, the Spin Jinny, Dorothy Smith and more! Followed by global grooves with DJ Nils from Beats Without Borders! Tickets $15 in advance at Silhouettes Dance Shop in Courtenay, $20 at the door.
