The Abbey Studio is hosting a special Dance Temple event, PAN ECSTATIC TRANCE DANCE, on Sat. August 25th, 8PM till midnight. Local Comox Valley dance teachers Lynsday Spenser, Jade De Trey and Cathy Stoyko have been rotating hosting these intentional, all ages, alcohol free, dance events since last Jan. Cathy Stoyko will be hosting this special Dance Temple event with live music by Brett Hearn, Jesse Gentes and Destanne Lundquist. These musicians have been experimenting with trance music from around the globe and will be playing some North African and Turkish inspired music. The live music will be combined with pan'ecstatic grooves by DJ SOMA. It's all about letting the music guide you, dancing with community and connecting with spirit! Feel free to bring small percussion instruments, zills... Hope you can join us!
