Arcana Dea Dance, my performance group (see page on this blog) have been busy sewing new costumes and practicing for this upcoming event. At this years Tribal Cafe show we share a tribal fusion belly dance 'Invaders of the Heart', a high energy Iranian Bandari dance choreographed by Farima Berenji and debut a new Bollywood inspired Indian fusion piece. The line up will also include dances by: Methuselah Dance (Jade De Trey's dance project), New Horizons Belly Dance, Edith Jacob, Luna and The SpinJinny!
This is the third annual Tribal Cafe show in the Comox Valley and the second year featured at Elevate The Arts festival. The event is free but donations will be accepted at the door in support of the Comox Valley Transition Society women's shelter. Come enjoy an evening of diverse dances celebrating the beauty and strength of women and community!
