Last year I had the pleasure of teaching at Dance Away Mexico in beautiful La Manzanilla, a small seaside village on the Pacific coast about 4 hours South of Puerto Vallarta. The retreat was created by dancer/herbalist Sheelagh Mackenzie back in 2009. Sheelagh has been visiting and teaching dance in La Manzanilla for many years and is a wonderful, knowledgeable host. Past 'Dance Aways' have featured the fabulous Lynette Harper. This year all three of us will be co teaching and we have added 2 extra days of dancing!

Dates for Dance Away Mexico 2011 are set for Feb. 6th- 12! Experience and perform traditional and fusion styles with inspiring BC instructors: Cathy Stoyko will focus on Bollywood, Bhangra and Indian/Arab fusion belly dance; Lynette Harper on Turkish, Arab, Romani improv & choreography; and Sheelagh brings her joy of folk fusion dance, along with dance games and exercises that will lead you to be confident and soulful in your dance.
An amazing get-away, filled with joyful dance in a seaside rooftop studio, evening dance parties, and lots of time for relaxation. This is our 4th year of holding this super fun and fabulously inspirational event. If you love to dance please join us.
